Policies and Procedures

Using computers at the Broadstairs, Canterbury or Chatham campuses

Salomons staff and students are able to use all networked computers at Chatham, Canterbury and Thanet, by logging on as they would at Salomons. The same software is available on all PCs and access to Personal Drives and Departmental Shared Drives is also available from all campuses.

To use the computers, staff, students and visitors require a User name and Password.

All staff members and students are provided with a Computing Account on joining Salomons. Visitors to Salomons will be provided with an account as outlined in the “Conference and Visitor Computing Use” section.

To use the computing facilities outside normal opening hours, please ask at Reception in the Mansion House. Remember to bring your student card or other ID with you.

Facilities are available for visitors to use the Computing equipment at Salomons. Salomons staff can arrange this by completing a Visitor Computing Account form. More Information is on the following links.
