Facilities

Audio Visual

All lecture theatres and seminar rooms have facilities for projecting computing access to the Internet together with video and DVD projection. The User Name for these projector machines is “Projector”: no password is required.

A Smart Board is installed in the Barnsley Hughes lecture theatre.

Laptops

Laptops can be made available for staff, through their Department managers. Laptops may also be available for short-term loan to visiting clients, through the Conference and Events department.

Printing

The two computer teaching suites and the Library open access areas all have mono laser printers for staff and student use. All staff offices have access to mono laser printers

Colour Printing

Colour laser printers are available for staff use across the Salomons campus. These can also be made available to students by arrangement with their tutor.
Paper for the printers in the computer teaching rooms is supplied by the Hall Porter staff at Reception - please contact Reception (on ext. 7609) if the paper runs out.

Scanners and CD-writers

The Mansion House Technology Suite has one scanner for students' use, while other scanners across the campus are available for staff use.  All workstations in the open access areas have CD-writers installed. Most staff machines also have a CD-writing facility.
