As part of improving children’s mental health services in Kent, commissioners of these services are looking to set up a Performance Management framework across the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) provision in Kent. The overall aim of this Research Assistant post will be to collect the CAMHS outcome measures data sets from the 32 CAMH services in Kent. Initially the aim will be to support pilot services in implementing the performance management framework and the collections of the CAMHS data set. The role will entail extensive liaising with CAMHS Teams and other related groups. It will also entail managing large data sets and providing regular feedback and report. The CAMHS Research Assistant will be part of CAMHS Team in the Department of Applied Psychology at the Salomons Campus of Canterbury Christ Church University in Tunbridge Wells. The post-holder will work under the supervision of the CAMHS Senior Consultant.

CAMHS Project Worker (WTE1.0)
One year fixed term contract
£27,319 to £28,983 pa

The aim of the project is to provide commissioners of multi-agency comprehensive child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS) in Kent with guidance and recommendations for future commissioning of these services. This will entail a review of current CAMHS provision and pathways across services in the Kent.
The project worker will have good research skills and will be able to work independently in terms of design and implementation of the project. This project will entail utilising innovative research methodologies to answer the questions commissioners have about service provision. The applicant will also possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to report on data in an accessible manner. The project worker will work under the supervision of the CAMHS Senior Consultant in the Practice Consultancy Team.
