e-Learning Modules

Canterbury Christ Church University has an important duty to ensure that all its staff are fully aware of the legislative and organisational issues relating to their roles.  However, given the size of the University campus network, this is not an objective which can be met by face-to-face training alone.

The Staff Development Office is currently developing various e-learning modules open to all staff.  The first of these modules to be completed is on Equality & Diversity.  A module covering issues relating to Recruitment & Selection should be available shortly.
The Equality & Diversity E-learning module includes:

  • Diversity and equality legislation and recent case law
  • General equality and diversity issues
  • The issues faced by the University linked to the wider national picture
  • Useful reference and information resources

INSTRUCTIONS FOR COMPLETING THE EQUALITY & DIVERSITY E-LEARNING MODULE

  1. Access the e-learning module
  2. Scroll down the page and register as a new user by entering your email and department (eg Salomons – C&E, Salomons – CASPD etc).
  3. You will then be sent an email detailing your new log-on and password
  4. Work your way through the module at your own pace. The module tracks your progress so you can start and stop as you please. The whole module will take between 50 - 70 minutes.
